David Kostman is the co-founder and CEO of Nanoosh
Mediterranean Hummus Bars & Counters (www.nanoosh.com).
Nanoosh serves authentic hummus, wraps, salads and soups
made from fresh, organic all-natural ingredients in a
casual yet chic environment. In October 2007, Nanoosh
opened its doors to its first location on the Upper West
Side of Manhattan, immediately becoming a neighborhood
staple. One year later, Nanoosh opened a second location
on the Upper East Side and is now expanding to serve
customers in all corners of Manhattan, with the opening
of its newest locations, Nanoosh Madison (Madison Ave,
between 33rd and 34th), which is Nanoosh’s first counter
service only location and Nanoosh Union Square
(University Place, between 12th and 13th).
Prior to founding Nanoosh, between 2006 and 2008, David
was Managing Director, global head of the Internet group
of Lehman Brothers’ investment banking division. Between
2000 and 2006, David served as the Chief Executive
Officer of Delta Galil USA, a subsidiary of publicly
traded Delta Galil Industries, a leading private label
and branded apparel supplier and prior thereto as Chief
Operating Officer of publicly traded Verticalnet, an
Internet B2B and software company. Prior thereto, David
was a Managing Director of the investment banking
division of Lehman Brothers, which he joined in 1994,
initially with responsibilities for coverage of Israeli
technology companies and later on as co-head of its
Internet group. In 1992-1994 David worked at NM
Rothschild & Sons’ investment banking division in London
focusing on M&A and privatization transactions in South
America and Europe.
David holds an MBA from INSEAD and an LLB from Tel Aviv
University Law School. |
