About the panelists:

 

Itai Karelic heads the US office of Greenlet Technologies and is responsible for the company’s sales, business development and strategic alliances. As a result Greenlet is the only Israeli Smart Grid startup with implementation projects in the US. He helped form Greenlet’s strategic direction prior to the company securing seed funding and joined the company at its inception in September 2008 once such funding was awarded.  
Prior to joining Greenlet Technologies Itai specialized in large-scale privatizations, in the US, Europe and the Middle East.
As part of his commitment to facilitate not only environmental change but also social change Itai is a Director at the Nicholson Foundation and serves on a per need basis as an executive on loan to the administration of Newark’s Mayor Cory Booker.
Itai holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and Duke University Fuqua schools of business.  

 


Tsafrir Oranski,is a VP Business Development at Arcadian Networks, a turnkey provider and manager of wireless networks to the energy sector - electric, water, and gas utilities and oil and gas companies. He is responsible for developing new markets, strategic relations, and partnerships. Previous to Arcadian Tsafrir held management positions at SAP, and BackFlip Software in product marketing, market and product penetration, and sales. Tsafrir also worked at Gilo Ventures, where he focused on the funds’ investments in communications infrastructure, software, and medical devices.
Tsafrir has his MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He has a law degree from The Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya. As an attorney, he worked in the corporate division of one of the leading law firms in Israel.

 

 

Yinnon Dolev,is VP Marketing & Strategic alliances at GE Licensing, a division of General Electric. Yinnon joined the business from GE Water & Process technologies, an industry leader in water purification, where he led global commercial programs. Prior to joining GE, Yinnon worked as an engineer and product manager in the Telecom industry with Packet Light Networks and Avaya. His current work is focused on leading intellectual property partnerships in clean tech and life sciences. He is a graduate of GE's Experienced Commercial Leadership Program, has an MBA from Cornell University and a BA in Computer Sciences from the Interdisciplinary center in Herzlia.

 

 

About the moderator:

Alexander Kaplun is an experienced transactional corporate attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions including representing private equity funds in the acquisition and disposition of portfolio companies; public and private equity and debt financings; venture capital financings and “growth equity” financings; cross-border joint ventures and financing; leverage buyouts and other private equity transactions. .  Alex is a graduate of and a holder of an LL.M. degree from New York University School of Law and has in the past held an associate position with the Wall Street law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell.
