Analyzing the Middle East

 

Speaker: David Levey, former head of sovereign credit at Moody's rating agency

 

Mr. David Levey was most recently the managing director and co-head of Sovereign Risk at Moody's Investors services. Mr. Levey shared with the IBF his unique experience and prospective about the middle east economy in general and the Israeli economy and credit specifically. His 20 years of working for the leading rating agency, Moody's, brought to us a macro view on the economy and its forecasted future. Throughout his career, Mr. Levey has been with Moody's for 20 years and rose to a leading managing position as the co-head of sovereign risk. Before joining Moody's, he had been with Wells Fargo for 2 years as a country risk manager. He has been an independent consultant and corporate trainer for 11 years working with clients, such as, Citibank, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Shell. Mr. Levey has been a writer for the Business Week Magazine and for Fortune Magazine and is now working on writing a book.

 

Mr. Levey holds a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago and Masters in Economics from Harvard University. He is married with 3 children.
